I love that @StephenAtHome refuses to use the @BillClinton account and only calls him @PrezBillyJef.

No coast, best coast. Midwest represent.
Bossman apparently is confused. He seems to think he hired 12 people. Nope. Just me. Feel free to stop piling on the workload, anytime now! This has been a *week*… TGIF.
11:38 and I’ve already eaten my lunch. I held off as long as I could. It’s gonna be a long (and hungry) afternoon. Score 1 for Monday.
Instead of going to the gym tonight, we had an impromptu date night that involved Italian and two separate pit stops. One for a chocolate cake batter shake and another stop at the dessert bar (that is a dangerously short two blocks from our place) for a creme de mint cupcake.
Good life choices.
M leaves tmrw am for a boys trip an will be gone til Sunday. Even tho he will be gone for our anniversary (Fri), I have a lot of fun things to look forward to…
Boss man is out of the country for the rest of the week (and all of next)
Happy hour plans tmrw
Mani/pedi date on sat
And the rest of the weekend is wide open!
Now time for some sweats and couch time…it’s all I can manage after tonight’s gorge-fest (well-worth it tho!)

Thank goodness for co-workers who bring in cupcakes. This cupcakes is definitely the bright spot in my less than stellar Monday. The day started off with a 5:30 wake up call to get a workout in prior to work. I get to they gym only to find out that there has been some sort of short circuit. Not only do the lights not turn on, the only machine that works is one stationary bike. Since I’m a freak (and knew that I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep anyway) I pedaled away on the bike for a half an hour.
I head out the door for work earlier than normal (made possible by my abbreviated workout) to brave the traffic in blowing snow and leftover ice from yesterday. The day takes its second turn for the worse (it’s still not even 730) when I find out that my car battery is dead. M left my lights on yesterday. The worst part is that I thought about reminding him to turn my lights off but decided against it seeing as I had already nagged him about it twice earlier in the day and thought at the very least the loud, continuous beep that my car makes when you do leave the lights on, would be enough to get him to turn the damn lights off. I learned my lesson. Always opt to be the nag.
In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal at all. But on a snowy, cold Monday…thank goodness for cupcakes.
